Sutton Community, Care & Support Organisations
From meeting like minded people to enjoying your favourite activities, there is a wide variety of Sutton community organisations to help.
It’s understandable why so many people prefer local home care in Sutton, rather than moving to a care home.
At Trinity Homecare we’ve been providing home care in Sutton since 1996, and we offer a full a range of care at home services across Sutton:
Our dedicated care team can assist with a range of community care needs from one visit a week to full-time live-in care, enabling you or your loved ones to remain living independently at home. We work extensively with local organisations in and around Sutton, including the St Helier Hospital, to support those in need of care.
“Trinity Homecare provides a first class service, which I would highly recommend.”
Client interviewed anonymously by the Care Quality Commission
Sutton is a South West London borough and forms part of outer London. The leader of Sutton Council described the borough as “quietly brilliant”, and noted that 91% of residents say it is “a great place to live”. With a population of 198,00, it is well known for its notable residents including the raconteur Quentin Crisp and Sir John Major.
It’s understandable then, why so many people in Sutton prefer to continue living in their own homes, rather than move to a care home.
The Sutton Dementia Action Alliance is encouraging local businesses and retailers to become dementia friendly. At Trinity Homecare, we too have a real passion for understanding dementia by encouraging all of our staff to become Alzheimer’s Society, Dementia Champions. This means that our whole team will have an appreciation of how to care for those with the condition.
“I believe the agency’s staff training is outstanding compared to other providers I deal with.”
Community professional interviewed anonymously by the Care Quality Commission
Paul Burstow, who served as the Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament for Sutton and Cheam for 18 years (from 1997 to 2015), was appointed Minister of State for Care Services in May 2010 and served in that position until September 2012. We’ve met Paul on a number of occasions and gave evidence for the government’s Burstow Commission, a report into the future of home care.
Our Sutton care team cover Sutton and parts of New Malden, Beddington, Cheam, Carshalton, Wallington, Woodcote Greem, Hackbridge and St Helier. Information about local support groups and community activities in New Malden and Carshalton are available to read on our blog.
Please note that Trinity Homecare is not connected with Trinity Care Services Ltd in Norbury, London SW16 4AQ in any way.
Leanne brings her skills, experience and knowledge to Trinity to support the Sutton team.
Paul has been a valued member of our Trinity team for many years and now uses his experiences in care to support the Sutton team.
Having previously been a TrinityCarer, our Care Manager Claire has a thorough understanding and appreciation for every aspect of providing care and she continues to support her Sutton team, clients and their loved ones.
“Heartfelt care in your home, Trinity's motto is true to its word. They all loved and cared for Mum as they did for myself and my family”
Rosie K, Sutton
“My carer has been with me for over 2 months and I can thoroughly recommend her. No job is ever too big for her. She has a smile for everyone, a very pleasant personality and shows an interest in other people’s lives”
Nancy W, Sutton
