Home care in Wales

Other than England, Wales is the only country in the UK where we provide home care. Our Self-managed live-in home care in Wales provides Self-managed live-in care across the country.

Two-thirds of the population live in south Wales, mainly in and around Cardiff (the capital), Swansea and Newport, and in the nearby valleys. The breathtaking countryside, over 1,680 miles of coastline and infamous mountainous regions make Wales a popular destination for residents and visitors alike. Our live-in care teams are committed to ensuring we’re providing opportunities to enrich your wellbeing by enabling you to remain living in the comfort of your own home with the freedom and support to live the life you know and love in Wales.

Which services are available near me?

Since all areas across Wales are further than a 2-hour drive from our head office in Surrey, our Self-managed care services are available across the country. Our self-managed live-in care will introduce you to a self-employed live-in carer in your area, and this service is available across Wales.

A selection of postcodes where we provide Self-managed live-in care include CF (Cardiff), NP (Newport), SA (Swansea), LD (Llandrindod Wells) and LL (Llandudno) among others.

What is Self-managed live-in care?

With Self-managed live-in care, a caring companion will live-in your home with you and provide full-time one-to-one support. Trinity Homecare acts as an introduction agency, introducing you to self-employed live-in carers in your area. You will be responsible for paying the live-in carer directly and providing them with ongoing information about routine and requirements, but you’ll receive ongoing support from your Trinity Care Manager who will be on hand to offer reassurance, advice and guidance as well as introducing you to carers and arranging placements.

Talk to us. Our experienced and compassionate team can offer advice and guidance to help you make your decision about your care.
