We receive many questions about using our domiciliary homecare services. Read some of the most frequently asked.

What is domiciliary homecare or daily domiciliary care?

At Trinity Homecare, our hourly domiciliary care service means you can stay in the comfort of your own home, while our team of carers will support you with personal care like bathing and dressing, reminding you to take your medication, our simply helping you out with odd jobs around the house. They can also take you to hospital and medical appointments, pop to the shops, cook you dinner – and even remember to feed and walk your pets!

Whether you need someone to pop in once a week or someone to help you with your daily morning or night time routine, for more information, check out our daily home care at home service and daily visit Personal Support Plans, or give one of our team a call – we’d love to hear from you.

What kind of domiciliary care training will my carer receive?

All of our daily home carers undergo a rigorous recruitment and training programme and we only work with carers who are totally committed to the job. The training has been specially designed by Trinity Homecare trainers, who have all been carers themselves and know exactly what it means to provide the best possible hands on – and heartfelt – daily home care.

Our training programme has been very well received and you can read some of the comments about it in our Care Quality Commission (CQC) report, the independent government body, which regularly inspects all of our managed care services.

We also encourage all our carers to develop their skills and we often review their progress with on the spot checks to see how they’re doing.

How do you choose your hourly and domiciliary carers?

All our daily home carers have not one, but two rigorous interviews. They will have undergone psychological testing to make sure they have the right temperament for the job and we always ask for – and talk to – at least two referees. We also ensure all our carers have completed a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

We are proud of our team of carers but don’t just take our word for it – have a read of some of our most recent testimonials.

What is the hourly cost of care?

For as little as £50, one of our carers can pop in once, or twice a week to take you out for a coffee or make sure you’ve taken your medication. Many of our clients start with a relatively small amount of daily home care to begin with, as they get to know our team and build close relationships. At Trinity Homecare, we believe good care starts and ends with companionship but as your needs increase, (or decrease) we can develop our support in different ways.

We’re open and flexible and we’re used to working with many different budgets –it’s all about creating a care plan that works for you. Why not call one of our team today to find out more.

Why use an daily home care agency, rather than hiring a private, self-employed carer?

Using an daily home care agency like Trinity Homecare you’ll see we bring a vast amount of experience, understanding and local knowledge.

When you’ve been in the care business as long as we have, you know immediately who to pick up the phone to. If you need help with any aspect of your care, we’re only too happy to help – for the past 20 years we have worked with many of the local hospitals, surgeries and care professionals across Surrey.

Our team of carers are all professionally trained and we do all the reference checking, interviewing and managing of your care – so you don’t have to.

We also provide back-up carers, so if for any reason you’re usual daily home carer can’t make it, we’ll make sure someone else can cover.

With an agency like Trinity Homecare, it’s all about providing peace of mind for you and your family.
