Home care from £500 per week

With a budget of £500, you have a wide range of care options available to you.

You can choose from a bespoke homecare service combining multiple visits at the times of day you require, (for example mornings, lunchtimes and evenings) combined with extended visits throughout the week to assist with shopping, home help, or accompanying you to appointments. We can also support you if you need help getting in and out of bed, requiring a hoist and carers throughout the day.

At a budget level of £700+ per week, you could also consider the benefits of live-in care which provides round the clock, 24-hour support. Live-in care is a fantastic alternative to a residential care home and is incredibly cost-effective, particularly for couples.

Case study: Julia Fenton

Julia Fenton was struggling to look after her elderly parents. Her mother, Joan, was falling, spending time in hospital, and was then diagnosed with dementia. “I wanted Mum to have one-on-one care at home and she was never going to get that in a rest home,” explains Julia. Live-in care made sense too, as a couple, their budget went a lot further than if they were to both pay for two rooms in a rest home.

Solution:

Trinity live-in carer Sally turned all their lives around. “It was such a horrible situation and within two weeks Mum was up, out of bed in a wheelchair, looking clean, beautiful and happy,” says Julia. It also meant she could find her own life again. “Knowing she was there for mum and dad, meant I could live again.”

Approximate budget:

c£1,120 a week
