97 per cent prefer to stay in their home
A One Poll survey* in July 2014 found that that 97 per cent of adults would prefer to stay in their home rather than move into residential care.
For the past 20 years, we have cared for many people who are living with dementia and enabled them to remain in their own home, with their familiar comforts and routines.
At Trinity Homecare, we appreciate that diagnosis of dementia can be an isolating and frightening experience, but we passionately believe that it is absolutely possible to live well with dementia. We’ve produced a dementia guide specifically to help.
We’re proud to be a part of the Dementia Friends initiative and this means that our team are trained by the Alzheimer’s Society. With our specialist knowledge, we have made it our mission to enable our clients and their loved ones to live an enriched life.
“People treasure the past and being surrounded by memories at home, means you still have a connection to the life you have had – and that’s very important.” Home care assistant – John Mackay
Living with dementia absolutely doesn’t mean that you need to surrender your independence and move into a care home. With a condition like dementia, familiar faces and routines are important.
You have a choice.
Your TrinityCarer will be by your side to ensure that you’re able to live the life you truly love.
We understand that there are many different types of dementia and each may progress at different rates for different individuals.
