Visiting Care FAQs
We’re here to help you understand every step of your live-in care journey. Read our helpful FAQs on all things visiting care and if you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
A professionally trained carer visits you in your own home to provide care whenever you need it. That can be as a little as a couple of hours a week to support with daily household chores or several calls a day for those with more complicated care needs.
Visiting, or ‘domiciliary’ care usually includes personal care, (washing, dressing, supporting morning and night-time routines), supervision of medication, helping with jobs around the house, cleaning, cooking and of course companionship. Nursing tasks such as wound care, injections, suppositories and the like are not the services we provide however.
With visiting care, a compassionate TrinityCarer will visit your home to provide you with assistance whenever you need it. Using our Matchcare Program, we carefully select a carer who will suit your personality and lifestyle so you develop a personal bond.
For as little as £50, our carers can pop in to take you out for a coffee or make sure you’ve taken your medication. Many clients start with a relatively small amount of visiting home care to begin with as they build close relationships with our team.
If you would like to benefit from the help of a TrinityCarer, please contact Trinity Homecare today and a friendly member of our team will be happy to assist you. This could be yourself or a family member that makes the initial enquiry via phone call, email, or filling out our contact form.

The training has been specially designed by Trinity Homecare trainers who have been carers themselves and know exactly what it takes to provide the best possible heartfelt visiting home care.
Our training programme has been very well received and you can read some of the comments about it in our Care Quality Commission (CQC) report, which regularly inspects all of our managed care services. We also encourage all our carers to develop their skills and we often review their progress with on the spot checks to see how they’re doing.
Research shows that after a stay in hospital, people recuperating at home recover far quicker than if they were to remain in hospital. Our home is the environment we feel most comfortable in, meaning we’re more relaxed with more chance of rest, everything at-hand, and the people we love close by to help with a smooth recovery
If you need help with any aspect of your care, we’re only too happy to help – for the past 20 years we have worked with many of the local hospitals, surgeries and care professionals across Surrey. With an agency like Trinity Homecare, it’s all about providing peace of mind for you and your family.
