We’re delighted to share a touching story about Tiago, a six-year-old white and ginger tabby who recently found his forever home.
Tiago had been a beloved companion to our former client, Anna, since he was a kitten. Gentle, affectionate, and always ready for a cuddle, Tiago quickly became a favourite among all the carers who visited Anna. His sweet nature brought warmth and joy to everyone who met him.
Following Anna’s passing, her family kindly reached out, sharing that they hoped Tiago could be rehomed within the Trinity family- somewhere he would continue to be loved by those who knew and cared for him.
Tessa from Trinity Sussex, quickly took the lead. She contacted carers locally to see if anyone could offer Tiago a loving new home. We also assured the family that if no one nearby could take him in, we would widen the search to our entire Trinity group.
Then this morning, we received a truly heart-warming update. After spending the weekend with Tiago, Anne’s family decided they couldn’t part with him. In their words, “He is like part of my mum, and keeping him would be like having a piece of her with us.”
Thank you to Tessa for her compassion and determination in finding Tiago a home, and to Anna’s family for opening their hearts to him.
Tiago is exactly where he belongs- surrounded by love and memories.
