Mr P, a Trinity Homecare live-in client, always took huge pride in his garden and enjoyed being out tending to it throughout the seasons. However, during recent times due to age related struggles he had been unable to do as much as he used to in his garden. This was a huge frustration for him, and he was most upset that the garden wasn’t looking as it had done.
Mr P’s live-in carer, Iona, who had been his carer for some years, understood how disappointing it was that he couldn’t tend to his garden and do what he used to be able to. Back in August this year, Iona worked with Mr P buying cheap plants, including reduced plants from the local shop that needed some TLC! Iona planted all the flowers and tended to the garden with Mr P doing as much as he was able to.
Mr P was so very pleased. He said of his finished garden:
“The flower beds have been transformed and are back to their former glory. I cannot thank Iona for her support and help.”
Carly, Mr P’s Care Manager, praised Iona:
“The support from Iona was a lovely positive thing for Mr P, who always took pride in his garden and gets out as much as the weather allows!”
