Second ‘Outstanding’ in Just Five Months Places Trinity Among a Handful of Top Providers
Trinity Homecare Group is proud to announce that its care service have once again been rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following a recent inspection.
This latest result reaffirms Trinity’s long-standing reputation for excellence and comes just months after another of the Group’s live-in care entities was also rated ‘Outstanding’. Together, these results make it the second ‘Outstanding’ for the Group in just five months.
The CQC awarded Trinity Outstanding in four of the five key areas — Well-led, Caring, Effective and Responsive, a distinction achieved by only a tiny minority of homecare providers nationwide, and one that reflects the strength of Trinity’s leadership and person-centred culture.
Innovation and Outcomes
Inspectors praised Trinity for combining compassion with innovation, noting its use of technology and proactive health support to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Highlights included:
- Giving clients the freedom to live independently while staying safe through initiatives such as Bluetooth trackers.
- Trialing augmented reality headsets with simple games to keep people active and mobile.
- Preventing future health needs by spotting issues early and supporting long-term wellbeing.
- Introducing Stories for Life to capture clients’ life stories, helping families connect and supporting memory for those with dementia.
- Responding to evolving client needs by offering new evening and overnight care options, while maintaining independence in the day.
Recognising our Carers
“This result reflects what we see every day: clients receiving care that is not only safe and well-managed, but also warm, empowering and truly life-enhancing,” said Cameron Young, CEO of Trinity Homecare Group. “It is above all a recognition of our extraordinary carers, whose compassion, professionalism and dedication make this possible. Day and night, they are helping families find peace of mind that their loved ones are getting dedicated care and support to live a more independent life in their own homes.”
“To have this reaffirmed under the CQC’s updated national standards is incredibly meaningful,” added Carla Gama, Director of Operations. “We are immensely proud of our carers and support teams, who put dignity, respect and independence at the heart of every single visit.”
