Trinity Homecare’s Worcester Park team was delighted to support Sutton Lodge Day Centre with a donation of coffee, cakes and board games for local older people to enjoy.
Summer Smith, Registered Manager at Trinity Homecare’s Worcester Park branch, visited the day centre to personally deliver the donations to the Sutton Lodge team.
The coffee and cakes will offer a welcome treat for those attending the centre, while the board games will provide further opportunities for social interaction, companionship and shared enjoyment.
Day centres such as Sutton Lodge play an important role within their local communities, providing welcoming spaces where older people can meet others, take part in activities and maintain valuable social connections.
During her visit, Summer also spoke with the Sutton Lodge team about opportunities for future collaboration.
Summer said:
“It was a pleasure to visit Sutton Lodge and deliver a few treats and games for everyone to enjoy. The centre provides such an important space for older people in the local community and we would love to explore how our team can become more involved. Whether that means supporting activities, offering companionship or simply taking the time to listen, we want to help ensure older people feel valued, connected and heard.”
Trinity Homecare is committed to building meaningful relationships with organisations across Worcester Park and the surrounding area. By working alongside local community groups, charities and day centres, the team hopes to create further opportunities to support the wellbeing of older people both at home and within the wider community.
The Worcester Park team looks forward to continuing its conversations with Sutton Lodge and exploring how the two organisations can work together in the future.
