Trinity Homecare at Bury St Edmunds Market
We’re thrilled to announce that Trinity Homecare will be joining the vibrant and historic Bury St Edmunds Market—a cherished local tradition that brings together the very best in community, culture, and cuisine.
Held in the heart of the town every Wednesday and Saturday, this bustling market fills the Buttermarket and Cornhill with life, colour, and energy. With roots tracing back before the days of William the Conqueror, it’s no wonder thousands of visitors flock here each week.
At our Trinity Homecare stand, we’ll be on hand to meet the local community, share more about our award-winning care services, and answer any questions you may have about how we can support you or your loved ones to live independently at home. Whether you’re looking for companionship, live-in care, or specialist support, we’re here to help with a friendly face and expert advice.
Planning for end of life
Aly Dickinson started her career in Human Resources. In 2012 after experiencing the loss of her parents and two brothers in the space of a few years – supporting them at the end of their lives – she was drawn to retrain as an End of Life Doula. She completed externally quality assured training and has been working as an End of Life Doula since 2013.
She practices in East Devon to be alongside people with a life limiting illness, the dying, the elderly and those living with dementia. This includes supporting their families and the people close to them. Sometimes this can be for months, or it can be for weeks. She has worked with people in their own homes, hospices, hospitals and care homes.
In 2018, seeing the need for a community of practice and a public facing body for trained End of Life Doulas, she founded End of Life Doula UK https://eol-doula.uk/ and was a Director until 2024.
As well as hands on experience as an End of Life Doula supporting people (and those close to them) with a terminal illness from the point of diagnosis through to the end of life she has relevant experience as follows:
Delivering End of Life Doula training
Developing and facilitating Community Workshops on supporting people at end of life
Hosting Death Cafes
Facilitating Grief Support Groups
